MILAN (AP) — South Korean speedskater Kim Gilli thought it funny earlier in the Milan Cortina Olympics when someone referred to her as Lambor-Gilli, an homage to the famous Italian sports car known for its speed.

Polish speed skater Kamila Sellier has undergone successful surgery after being hit by a blade of a rival in the face during a crash in the Olympic 1,500 metres short track competition. Team official Konrad Niedzwiedzki told Eurosport that "Kamila underwent surgery to put the damaged bone visible in a scan back together and to clean everything.
