Last week, nearly 240 Soldiers took to the Fort Pickett Air Assault Obstacle Course for "Zero Day" of the U.S. Army's Air Assault School, taught by cadre assigned to the Fort Benning-based Army National Guard Warrior Training Center. In order to earn a seat in the class, Soldiers had to first complete a two-mile run in less than 18 minutes, then climb a rope, maneuver down a cargo net, over a 40-foot tower, through the dirt, over a bunch of logs and an incline wall, over and through the weaver,
